Cedaf was born in Forlì in 1973 as a consortium structure which associates local agencies and national companies. Subsequently, it changed from a cooperative company to a capital company and since 2006 is a 100% subsidiary of the Maggioli Group. Cedaf designs, realizes and manages, over time, software products and advanced services using a team of about 100 employees. In over 30 years the company has affirmed itself on the Italian market (more than 600 clients) and has become a leader in the production and supply of applicative software and advanced computer services in both the public and private sectors. ISO 9001:2000 certified, it operates over the entire country through the Forlì, Milano e Roma headquarters, and through a capillary commercial presence in the country integrated with the "Metropolis" agents network of the Maggioli Group. The company is composed of 2 business units: the first deals with the public administration market, the second with the market of small and medium companies. The latter is responsible for starting, training and assisting and maintaining software systems and hardware sales.
The area that develops the larger volume of turnover is the one regarding the supply of high technology designs, solutions, products and services for the Public Administration market, both local and central, and Healthcare in several areas of intervention:
Accounting and Management Control, Protocol for applications and Document Management, Staff, Social-Healthcare Assistance, Demographics, Taxes and territory, Internet portals and on-line services.
Besides the product suites that cover the majority of the back-office processes of public administration, Cedaf, in these years, has successfully realized some e-government projects, and so it has affirmed itself, even in this field, as one of the reference players at a national level:
