is an Italian SME that provides
software services. It was established
in 2000 by individual owners
with limited responsibility
(Ltd) and it is located in Genova
(head office) and in Rome.
The company gained wide experience
in designing and developing
systems by providing solutions
for public administrations,
large companies, universities
and research labs. In 2003,
the company took its ISO9001:2000
certification from IMQ-CSQ.
Nowadays, the company's team
is composed of highly skilled
persons, and its core business
covers three main areas, namely
e-Services (e-Government, e-Learning,
e-Business), biomedical engineering,
and education.
The company is one of the main
software service providers of
the Italian Labor Exchange Office,
(about 100 centers covering
about the 20% of the Italian
Provinces) and its annual turnover
is about 1M€.
The main division is specialized
with the e-Services and represents
about the 80% of the company.
It is specialized in developing
web applications to solve both
the business and the industrial
processes, and in this framework,
special effort is continuously
devoted to develop the so called
e-government solution. In this
context in particular, ett has
developed LINK (Labour Integrated
NetworK) that, besides the standard
functionalities required by
the Job-Centres, provides several
on-line services for citizens,
companies, public schools, training
centres, universities, etc.
Besides several the Italian
Public Administration (Regions,
Provinces, etc.), the main customers
are Accent, Accenture, Alchera
Group, Ansaldo, Cilla, Dattasiel,
EBLig, Elsag, Marconi, NES,
Pirelli Cavi e Sistemi, RINA,
SINS.
The Biomedical Engineering Division
(BED) has its highly qualified
Research and Development team
that supplies highly customized
system for research centers
and university laboratories.
It is active in the area of
neuroengineering and biomedical
instrumentation by providing
its experience in software designing,
data acquisition and processing,
system integration.
In 2004, it took a special degree
(i.e. the Italian Design-In-Award-2004)
for its capability to innovate
and transfer the research results
into commercial products, and
in 2006 it won the Perotto Award,
a regional award for the most
innovative R&D prototypes realized
by SME in Liguria. Since 2001,
the company has also been supporting
PhD fellowships in Bioengineering
and Bioelectronics. The annual
turnover of BED is about 10%-15%
of company's annual turnover.
The company also proposes itself
as a technological partner to
training companies and to businesses
able to supply an extremely
qualified consultancy during
the planning of formative intervention.
